Oh my where should I start here  Seen this a hundred times and sometimes it's not good. Happy you are allright and hope you didn't spill your beer running outside to get control. :D Your the man Andre, ever thought of going in to the fire service :worthy:

Andre; He-he, fireeee, cool! (Beavis). Did you get the lecture after? You know, what were thinking Andre?

Have you ever thought of dropping your boat in the water and running it to warm up the water? I figure >20 gallons/minute at 160 degrees should warm up your lake soon!

Good Idea Leroy on the warm up...

Andre - I'll have to try that with my yard! I hate mowing - what a waste of time. I have noticed my yard is innundated with grubs. I'm really torn on whether or not to get rid of them. The more brown I have - the less mowing time & more ski time I have....

hmmm... delimas delimas.....

Local Volunteer firemen last year told me many fires would be put down faster if someone would call first instead of trying to put it dowm themself. It sure went through my mind a couples of times.

Leroy
That's the problem,I wasn't thinking...

Jimmer
Anything that takes time away from skiing is bad.Wonder how much Astro Turf cost ?

Your firefighter friend is right. Make the call first and than if you can get control (go for it). Just don't go in to a burning building. :eek3: Hope the wife doesn't make you re-seed your grass, just more work right. You know you would need a lot bigger fire than that to melt that ice. Maybe a 10-wheeler full of rock salt and your grass-seed spreader that I know you have or will have to re-seed

But I wanted to remind you to be careful this year when burning the brush in your yard.

André

Man,only you can remember and dig out some old thread !!!
Your ease to remember some small details is quite amazing!
Actually ,i'm taking a break from raking the yard on the lake side and ,for a second ,almost thought of starting a fire...Too windy.
