I have a 99 Prostar 190 with the LT1 engine. Original owner. I cannot find in the owners manual the capacity of the fuel tank.

I keep a log of gph and I burn in the 4 to 5 gph range. I live on a lake and I never idle around, just 34 mph slalom runs.

Normally I refill the tank and it holds 15 or so gallons. But recently I let it go longer than normal and it held about 23. So it prompted me to look up and see what the capacity is. I cannot find it in the manual.

Anyway know what it is? Did I miss it in the manual? Is it documented anywhere? Thanks

I believe it was 28 gallons in 98. I'm not sure if they changed anything for 99.

What about 96. $100+ to fill it up. (Pump stops at $100)

Correction. 1998 was 32 gallons.
WSM BBG lists 2000 at 31 galons.

1996 was 31 gallons as well.

It should say on the tank.

Water Ski magazine Boat Buyer's Guide.

The 1999 owner's manual is not online. Up through 1998, they had a handy chart that had this info in it. I'm not seeing that in the 2000 owner's manual, so I went to the BBG.

NADA doesn't list tank size.

Howdy, I have a 1998 Prostar with the LT-1. The tank is stamped 32 gallons. I ran it out about a month ago. It would hold only 26 filled to the top.

Measure the tank, compute the volume, and convert to gallons.
