Spring break at Lake Havasu, AZ brings boating and partying together.
Sounds like a recipe for fun, so long as you’ve got a life preserver.

Just in case!

I've never been there, but wouldn't mind going to check it out.

I worked a construction project in the area from March - August '06. Lots of high power, high dollar boats and lots of booze and drugs on the lake every weekend....picture was typical of most summer weekends, not just spring break. It was not uncommon for 1 or 2 people to die on that lake every weekend. Sad.

I footed on it a couple of times very early morning before all the party people came out....spent some time partying out there, too

Very big, very nice lake but does get out of control at times. Used to party it up all around copper canyon, sandbar, london bridge, etc back in the late 90's. Got a houseboat with a bunch of buddies and went insane for a week!! Not a place to take your own boat, especially the sandbar with a lot of current and stupid boaters! Now I stay down south and enjoy havasu springs area, much more "family" oriented or at least away from the craziness.

I personally cannot stand the place. My buddy just bought a really nice home out there, but is able to go mid week with his firefighter schedule... works out great for him.

I personally think the Party Heat show is horrible. It is just like the Beach Patrol show that they did in Huntington Beach, CA last summer. It is made for TV drama that creates a false identity of the place. There are a lot of great people in Hava-zoo, who are never seen, because the drunkin', high retards are all the show shows for the entertainment.

First few questions the cop asks in those videos; Have you been drinking? Any illegal drugs on board? Lifejackets?

I can't believe the scene where they just throw beer cans in the lake? :( In front of a cop? Cop makes the pick up 20 beer cans instead of writing a $1,500 ticket.
