Went up to Bennett's last night to check out the MC Pro Tour jump event. Great stuff. Jumping under the lights was insane. LOTS of people there for the event which was great to see. If there is a stop close to you definitely make the effort to get there http://www.lanightjam.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=47&Itemid=66

My only gripe was there was not enough MC garb there. I mean they are the top sponsor of the event yet they weren't giving away anything. I mean even the local bank was handing out free beer koozies.

Best part is the closed bow ski boat isn't dead yet. They had a closed bow Nightmare edition 190 and a closed bow '08 TT boat. Sorry for the low quality photo but here is a picture of all of the womens finalists (looking the wrong way) in the TT.

It used to be that MC was solely sponsoring some or most of these events (Regional/Nationals/ProTour/Reunion/Boat Shows, among others) and they took stuff to give away and to sell in the Big Red Rig, but there was a problem with a company from one state selling stuff in another state and something about state sales taxes and some other issues, IIRC. They then adapted the program, where the local dealer to the event was the primary sponsor/logistics/got associate sponsors with MC's support and did all the selling and giving away and they ordered the stuff from MC or the ProShop to sell and it's just not happening in most cases.

Who makes that boat anyway? It sure doesn't show up on the boat as in the past and if you weren't at a event to see it up close and weren't familar with the boat, you would still be guessing what kind it was, I'm just sayin'!

I agree with you there. You'd think it would have MC decals all over it!!!

Sounds like a good time though.

I am glad that you made it out to the Night Jam BrianM, i hope that you enjoyed the show!!!
I am sorry we did not have enough give aways From MC, (we actually Had none) i will work on that for next year!!!
We had a great turn out, the Bennett's Staff worked really hard promoting the event, doing cross marketing promotions at local restaurants, bars, events, and the local companies supported us 100%.
Without MasterCraft and the several sponsors, this event would been impossible!!!
Next Time you are coming up, PM and i will get you some VIP Tickets for the event!!!
Thank you for making the drive!
Esteban

On a side note, it is hard to see those Black on Black Graphics on the TT boats!!!!

We will post some pictures of the event in the next few days!!!

From what I could tell along with everything I hear y'all did a FANTASTIC job cross marketing this event. Saw lots of locals out there that were new to the water skiing world. Overall it was a really great event that you should easily be able to build on for the future.

Hanging the new MC from a crane on the turn from the highway was a great idea. Wish I would have taken a picture of it.
