We have a 1981 Pro Am Windsor. We put it in the water last weekend and found that we have a leak coming from one of the brass nuts that is on the drive shaft. Is there and easy way to fix this?

sounds like the water is coming from the packing area around the shaft ... a small leak is normal (meaning drips like 2-3) ... take a look at this thread that explain how to replace the impregnated rope in the packing area and how to adjust the packing nut .... I have also used the new goretex packing rope from SkiDim and it works great ...

Thanks all. Can't wait to get some use out of our boat. But here in Idaho...summer is taking its time.
