Dropped one of my tower knobs in the driveway and broke it the other day. It is from an '01 ZeroFlex tower. Black plastic knob with the bolt in it.

I did a quick search on MCoC and came up with tower bolts and the Chrome/Anodized knobs which look good, but are a little rich for my blood.

Does anyone have any extras, or know of a "local" type place that would have them?

MYMC / BAWS / etc, do you have any listed or any at the shop?

Thanks.......

CARY

Try an RV place. Some of the knobs for an RV retractable awning might work.

Give anyone of those boys a call. They will be able to hook you up with the right one.

I'll wait and see what one of the dealers say, I try to give them my business when it makes sense to do so.

I didn't even think of New Dimension, good idea.

Got a photo? Try WoodCaft or Rockler woodworking stores.

Even better idea ! I am in the woodworking business, don't know why I didn't think of somewhere like that. I can prob go steal one off of a machine around here :-)

It looks like McMasterCarr has them for $2-3 each. Have to check thread pitch and length when I get home, but looks like a winner.

Let me guess- 5/16"-18, right? That, or 1/4"-20.

Cary, call Boats Unlimited in Durham. They have a whole box of knobs and such. Matt in parts knows what he's doing. I may have to run up there this week, if so, I'll see if I can get you one.

I saw a tower knob this weekend but he was wearing a crooked hat hanging on the tower of a tahoe (sorry, couldnt resist)

Go to the dealer and get the newer style that has a soft handle on it. Easer to turn and no breakage.

check out mcmaster carr. If you know the thread size, they have a good assortment of knobs and just about any other piece of hardware you can imagine.
