For me-
1st time I do a step off in nothing but a pair of shorts!
1st time I see a girl in shorts and a tank top w/bathing suit showing on the street.
1st time I get out of the boat to just float and consume!
1st time I realize that my head of full of water from the diggers I took the night before.
just a few!
anybody?????

it's almost always summer down here. But I guess a few definite signs are:
1) I can't walk from my front door to the car without being completely soaked in sweat
2) I have to be off the water with the boat by 1:00 or else I'll be dodging lightning bolts
3) When it's more refreshing in the boat than in the water
4) By the time I finish mowing my lawn, the first part has already grown 3 inches.
5) I have to spend every weeked putting up hurricane shutters

Just kidding, I'm glad summer is coming, but I would say September through November and March through May are the best times of year in Florida.

It feels like summer when I get in the car and accidentilly touch the metal end of the seat belt resulting in a third degree burn. Ah, Texas.

Only 2 months? You're north of me and we saw SNOW again last night. At least it didn't accumulate.

Andre', you may be sking before me and I live in Louisiana. Memorial Day Weekend has always been the start of my sking and summer. Fishing and golfing right now, but could be sking. Maybe this is why I suck at sking, but golf is a different story.

when I wake up on monday morning thankful it is cloudy because I am hurting with my sore musles and sunburn.

We went out last Sunday and I am so glad the weather is crappy so I have a chance to recover before the hot sunny weather returns on Wednesday.

Summer has made it to Texas. :)

So true. Except for the sunburn, I'm right there myself. I skied 3 very long sets on Sunday (drove a long way to do it, too). Lathered on the sunscreen, but they don't make enough ibuprofen to fix the rest of me.

1) When all the snowbirds are crowding I-75 in Macon, Georgia going back up north.
2) When you can't go outside without the gnats and skeeters eating you alive.
3) You can see the heat rising off of the asphalt
