Hi all

I am ready to quit trying to do all my own landscape maintenance and wondered how many of you have done the same. There are just way too many things to keep me busy and I would really like to have another summer eve free to head out to the lake, etc. What has been your experience with lawn service companies? Any things to watch out for? What is typical to pay for a full service, ie mow, trim, blow, prune, fertilize..?

I've thought about just hiring a neighborhood kid to mow the lawn and do the rest myself, but I haven't taken the leap yet. I think around here, I might pay 25-30 per mowing. No trimming probably. A pro lawn service of course would be more. I think about it, but in the spring that would be $60/week. It is not all about the money either. I kind of take pride in the lawn.
