Jim the Upholstery Guy did an awesome job on my upholstery!

UMP took a picture of his medallions
I shipped small pieces of vinyl to Las Vegas to have a guy digitize and embroider them.
I'm really happy with the way things turned out.

Milk, that really does look good. Did you have the whole boat re-done?

yes, had the entire boat reupholstered

all the wood for the gunnel pads was removed and replaced with HDPE plastic
1/2 in. thick.

all the wood from the rear bench was removed and replaced with HDPE plastic 1/4 in. thick

got 1/2 the carpet torn out presently
all the vinyl except the driver's seat needs installed

had some things come up that put the boat on the backburner again:(

Who is Jim?

I want to have my upholstery redone too!

Looks like he is the go to guy! Only I live in California, I wonder if I could just send the old skins in and have him work something up for me?

Im in california also and he is doing mine. Just sent him the skins.

So what do I do? Remove the skins and just mail them to him with color/pattern ?

What if I want to change the driver seat? I like the seats pictured above in this thread!!! Mine is on its last leg and the arm rests wiggle around, probably rotten wood frame...

About what does it cost to have the interior upholstered? I have engine box, observer 90* bench and driver seat - I only have about 4 skins... Any ideas?

AND WHERE CAN I CONTACT THIS GUY!!! Is his information on the site here somewhere?
