Would be and would have been then impossible to do without Richard Pryor IMO.

"I want rustlers, cut throats, murderers, bounty hunters, desperados, mugs, pugs, thugs, nitwits, halfwits, dimwits, vipers, snipers, con men, Indian agents, Mexican bandits, muggers, buggerers, bushwhackers, hornswogglers, horse thieves, bull d*kes, train robbers, bank robbers, a$$-kickers, $h|t-kickers and Methodists."

??? I don't recall Richard Pryor in Blazing Saddles?

If I recall, the actor who played the Sheriff was Clevon Little.

It was supposed to be Pryor but the Stuios wouldn't approve the movie with him in it.
