You wouldn't happen to have an extra screen or know where I can get one? I have the entire assembly, save the screen.

Thx.

Ok I'm going to feel pretty dumb here. But do I have a raw water filter? I have a 2006 X2. I've never heard that this is something that I need to do.

Kingsley has more grass floating freely than the river. Goodbys creek is a part of the St. John's isn't it?

No I added it. Bought it from Skidim and installed it myself. You will need the 90 degree elbow and one straight to install in your X2.

Chief, after your little trip, get stationed here in Central NC and we'll throw snowballs at each other 5 months of the year and boat on clean water the other 7, how's that? NC Bar-B-Que, Cheerwine, Sundrop and CSM two hours away, now that's Paradise!

I like the way you think.

That TMC is always thinkin!!

By the way. My boat has run almost 1600 hours with no filter. I have never seen anything to speak of in my oil cooler. Small bits of debris, but not major clog.

I guess it depends on where you run your boat, but luckily I have had no problems running without a strainer.

Whats a filter? I thought all that stuff stopped up the water flow! If I had one I and I knew better, I wish I knew where to look for it.

I would like to install a raw water filter on my 06 197 but not sure I can since they change the raw water inlet to mid ship. I just don't think there is enough hose and room now to install. Does anyone have pics of an install on a newer 197 where the raw water pick up is up front almost below the alternator? thanks...

I just installed one in my 03 X2 and glad i have it. works great and keeps the tranny from being blocked. We had several outings cut short last year from sucking up junk out of the river.

I have one on my 05 TT. No pictures handy and the boat is at the lake... I can add some pictures in a couple weeks. The guys from Discount Inboard Marine can help as well.

That was from Blacks Creek not "condom" creek. But you wouldn't have that problem anywhere since you would have to actually put your boat in the water. :D
