I finally got my MT2 tower installed on my 2000 maristar 230vrs. It came out really nice. (My son gaveit his teenage seal of approval)- I spent most of the winter trying to decide on a tower and the MT2 has turned out to be the best of both worlds. It was cost effective, yet it looks really good, It performs just as their claims, quiet and strong! We got the boat in the water this past weekend. We are up in the adirondacks and the lake water is still cold but my sons an their friends couldn't resist the chance to get out on the water. The tower performed really well. I was truly impressed no shake, no noise and it looks good . It also comes apart very easy. I was able to take the tower down in less than 5 minutes and put the cover on with minimal effort. I plan on modifying my covers as I have both the full trailer cover and the snap on covers. Installation took about 4 hours again as claimed. Can't saay enough about reading the instruction manual a couple of times and trying everything out before drilling. As I hadn't seen this new design on a Maristar I spent a some time trying to figure out the best layout. I have more pics but here are some of the finished product. Looking forward to the summer. Next is getting a good looking bimini top that mounts on the tower

P.S. The guys at Monster were very helpful .

Looks good. The guys at monster are great. I have the original since august 2003 until this year on my old nautique, and put 500 hours on boat with tower. when i sold the boat, it was just as solid as day one
