Eric at OJ says this prop isn't repairable - Does that look right to you all? The damage seems pretty minor.

Take the crap off of it so we can see it, take it off then show us some pictures of it. If you sent that pic for him to evaluate, I'd say it wasn't repairable either. Did you ask him to repair your clearance light too!

My opinion: If Eric says it's not repairable, it's not repairable. I've read nothing but good things about Eric on this forum.

man judging by the wicked bents you have on the blades even if it was straightened and balanced, I bet/know that prop would jar the fillings out of your teeth. I have to agree, it looks toast.

Eric and OJ have always given repairing props a good try for me in the past ... the newer (thinner) CNC props are sometimes less likely to repaired in comparison to some of the older pre-CNC props (at least that is what I am told)

See if you can get the netting off the prop and shaft, but I think best case it looks pretty rough on all the blades.

Good luck.

Silly boyz

Do you carry a spare prop? (Recommended) If you can't get this one fixed then buy 2 from OJ or wherever you'll be getting it from, live & learn :D

Good Luck

Bad angle to tell if that blade on the right is near to touching the other blade. I have had much worse looking props fixed, as far as bent tips or ends of the blades.

Better pic might help, and as others have said Eric tends not to BS.

Don't take off that debris!

Just pull off the prop and proudly hang the whole thing on your garage wall!

That's what I did with my damaged prop...

I am not going against what Eric has to say. We REFURB alot of props in Tampa because
folks beach there boats, hit sand bottoms, hit turtles etc. I have seen my prop
company bring back alot of props worse than that. Sometimes better than when the prop was new
because of new balancing techniques. Within the last 6 months they are now balancing
splined props like yours. I guarantee the work

That prop is VERY VERY repairable and can be dynamically balanced
w/o a problem

If I can be of service please let me know

I have seen worse. Worst case scenario $189-$229 + shipping

I think the picture makes it look weird like the two blades are touching each other or bent closer together. But I think it is just the angle of the pic taken. Other than a little round over on the blade I am not sure what is wrong with this blade?

Better pic maybe?
