View Full Version : American Graffiti 35th anniversary.

Some of the scenes in "American Graffiti" were filmed in my town. For the 35th anniversary, they're doing several events highlighting the cars and people from the movie.

They built a police car just like the one in the film so they could re-create the scene in the same parking lot it was filmed in when it was made in '73. I got downtown about 10 minutes too late on my way to the gym. They shot the scene at 4:30 and I got there at ~4:45. :(

They did have a couple of the original cars from the movie there as well. The yellow coupe was there, as well as the white sedan that Ron Howard (I think) drove...

OH man what a movie
What I did like about it was it was all about one night, and Hot Rods !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I went and saw that movie Monday night at the Arclight theater in LA. Third or fourth time I've seen it, but the first time on the big screen. It was very enjoyable.

You know the actual original (movie)Yellow deuce is sitting at Universal studios Florida.. In Bad Bad shape. In the weather.
