I need a JOB!

I am a teacher and summer is quickly approaching. I need something flexible enough to let me make it to camps and ski as much as possible. In years past I have trimed trees, worked new construction, shingled houses, mowed yards, drove limmo's, cooked for eateries, just about everything. Any ideas. I need something and I am running out of time. Don't want to work for nothing, and want to hide it from Unc. Sam if I can. Any help is apreciated..

look on craigslist, look in yer local newspaper,
call up your MC dealer and see if there r any seasonal positions left...
It shouldn't be too hard, but maybe we could help if we knew your location

I don't think you could "hide it from Uncle Sam", but around here there is an Amusement Park that hires a lot of Teachers in the summer. Is there anything like that around you?

...or you could just be an honest person (and set a good example, TEACHER), and pay your taxes. I find that most who are resistant to paying taxes haven't spent enough time in third-world countries to appreciate what the US provides. Is our govt. system perfect? No, but I'll take it over everything else I've seen around the world.

Advertise as a handyman in the newspaper or on craigslist.

since you're already a teacher, carry those skills onto the water and do private skiing and wakeboarding lessons. advertise on craigslist, the local marinas, sporting goods stores, gyms and any other place you can think of.

another fun/rewarding job i loved was golf course maintenance. if you're part time during the summer, you could set your schedule for like 6am-2pm or 11am-6pm whatever you want really, but the best part is you typically get to play golf for free and brings friends for free ....i always enjoyed it. plus, it was always rewarding to sit back and admire a perfectly cut fairway, green, tee-box or even a perfectly raked bunker. cal me crazy, but i liked it.

know any kids you could watch for cheaper than their parents are paying in daycare? And like others have said, craigs list is a great and free place to advertise what ever you want to do.

Sorry I haven't kept up on the thread. I am in Nebraska. Not heavy enough to be good ballast, and can't play the piano. I think I may have found something in construction again though. Thanks everybody.
