Hey everyone. I have searched but didnt have any luck. I was looking in the manual last night to see what motor oil to use it suggest 50 weight. What is everyone else running. The motor oil that they suggest is really had to find. Please help!

Your manual recommends 50 weight oil for a 2005 MasterCraft? That is surprising. I don't think that's correct.

15W40, API service classification CI-4 Plus. That supersedes the 15W40 CH-4/SJ that is recommended in the owner's manual for your 2005 boat. The brand doesn't matter. You can find Pennzoil or RotellaT at almost any WalMart or NAPA. Note that these are typically labelled as Diesel oils. BTW, stay away from the the Pennzoil PZ-3 filter Indmar recommends. While you're at NAPA, pick up a NAPA Gold 1069 instead.

Big Mac is correct...I use 15W-40 in mine. Usually Shell Rotella, with a NAPA Gold 1069 filter.
