Terrible, freak accident. Rope wrapped around his neck while skiing.

Brett was a great guy and excellent skier and a fabulous coach. The worl is missing out not haivng Brett around. He was one of those rare individuals that instantly became good friends and he never forgot about you. He was always on the dock waiting to help someone out with skiing.

I met Brett the first year I coached at Ski Paradise and became good friends quickly....

Wow. There is something to be said for dying doing what you love to do, but that is much too young.
