View Full Version : New Google Map with Satellite images

I don't know if many of you have seen this, but I think it blows Mapquest away. Ease of use, plus satellite images that you can toggle between map view and sat view. Too cool :dance: This is the first time I've been able to pull a picture of our lake off the web.

Map Quest was always a little weak anyway.

Here is a great picture of Ski-A-Rees in such detail that you can see are three blue docks and are jump just off into the water. Of coarse Mote Marine Lab's would be in the picture with their Pontoon boat in the middle of the picture! This is crazy!!!

I get the same from my home PC. I haven't corrected it yet, but my guess is it has to do with Mcafee anti virus, anti pop up, anti something anyway. I notice a Java script error at at the bottom as well though. It will take a little digging.

Any other ideas?

Wow, very cool...... even though it looks like their a couple years old. Still newer than the old MS terra server site has online.
Detail in this dinky town isn't so good. But zoom in on a big city & you can almost tell if the light was red or green! ;)
