Sold the boat last year and forgot that the jump seat was in my basement. From a 1996 prostar 205 in near mint shape. It will fit 96 through 2000? 205's. I have more pics and info. Pm or email me.
It is listed under parts in the marketplace.
thanks

This may sound like a stupid question, but does this chair fit next to the observer seat or does it sit behind the drivers seat beside the motor box?

Either. It's made for the walk-thru area, but it fits nicely behind the drivers seat as well.

Thats right it's made to fit in the walk through spot but you could put it anywhere. It was great in the spring and fall to block the wind.

Very rare item and quite expensive to buy when they were available. Anyone who's interested should jump on this one.

oh my.....heading to marketplace

will this fit a 03 X-2? (205V)

I was interested until I saw the $500 price tag. If it matched my interior I would be tempted, but the red would look out of place in my boat. If the price were right I would consider recovering it.

yeah, the red doesn't match mine either. i'll probably have to pass. i realize the new one's are well over five bills, but that's a lot of dough to have something stand out.

not even sure if it fits the 205V hull or not...

someone will be stoked i'm sure.

I think that it should. I am not aware that the hull had changed that much from 93 to at least 98

It should fit, but for the 1st generation 205, there was a bit of a different accent pattern on the vinyl and the base of the jump seat was curved to match the contour of the observer seat. Still, unless you build your own, you're going to be hard pressed finding something that close.

This is not an OEM seat, but they are OEM skins, so you get the idea.

I'm quite sure he does. He told me so. :) Only downside of that seat was the weight if you ever needed to move it. I didn't really move it more than a couple of times in the two years I owned it though.

I own a 97 205. If I wanted to add a lounge seat with storage underneath behind the drivers seat like the 214, are there any custom shops that do that kind of work?

I would also be interested in doing this on my 205. Anyone tried this yet?

I know it's an old post, but it will probably fit. However, the jump seat bases for 94 were contoured. Also, the color pattern is going to be slightly different.

Not too difficult to build. Order some 214 skins or, better, get a local shop to cut you some skins, then work backwards to build a long base.

Here's my homemade custom jump seat for my old 205 using OEM skins (no longer available).
