This member, craig3972 made this suggestion,

Stereo section for TM
I was forced to wander to other sites, Tige owners, Malibu Crew and Wake world, in order to get some info on stereo installs.

Just thought it would be great to have a dedicated spot on this site for stereo information

I think that is a great idea.

Make it happen.

I support the idea as well!

wiring can always cause problems. Heck I'm not even sure how to wire up my stereo! Great idea Harold!

I support the idea as well!

We will just have to see if anyone in Vonore is reading this and see if they will confirm reading it and consider it.

I too had to go to outside sources for my new Stereo Install. I vote yes on Stereo Section.

Thanks guys.

FWIW, just a few weeks ago I became a member of several of the competition's sites just to get stereo advice.

Why does anyone have to go to another forum to get stereo advice, when all they would have to do here is ask?

I think a separate section is a good idea as long as the technical side isn't based on opinion. Brand and model of equipment, what sounds good and what doesn't can all be recommended by people but power cable size vs capacity, fuse size/location and safety issues should be posted so nobody burns their boat up or is hurt, due to bad advice.

Well, I went into the archives to look for the thread I started when I did the stereo install in my old boat: amps, cap, subs, speakers, head unit, extra batt, etc, etc. I found it. Unfortunately, it looks like the server dropped all of my photos. It was 3-4 years ago, but still...oh well.
