Looking to order a wakeboard for a 60 lbs 7 yr old. The problem is i have no idea what size to get. He is dying to start and mine is wayy to big for him to use. He is 4'2. We want a decent board but not top of the line. Thanks

119 and under would suit him fine.

Make sure you get a "brand" name- not a knockoff. If you can find a used board it would be great. There should be lots of 07's and some 06's available. Our niece started with a Brand X knockoff board and had a much harder time. We bought her a "new" never used 06 LF board and it is dramatically better. If you are going to be spending lots of time out there, it's worth the extra $50. My 2 cents......

Started my 7-year-old daughter on a hyperlite divine (same as boys motive) 119. I probably could have gone to the 109 though, but the 119 will last her for a few years. Make sure the bindings fit though. Thats probably more important than 109 vs. 119 at this point.
