Need your all say's in this matter ..... I painted my other boat yesterday


Should I complete the painiting on my Jon Boat w/ Cameo (Blk / Beige)
or leave it in it's current color stage of Hunter Green :confused:


Here's both a "Before" and "Current" pic' as of now

Paint it the same color as the grass and it will never be seen!

Since you probobly use this as a fishing boat and sit still out on the lake. I would paint it a contrasting color so it can be seen.

You don't want some wally that is pulling a toob to run you over.

My little fishing boats similar to that and the same color, the only bad thing is it gets hot in the sun.

Camo kinda blends in :DYea it does at that, I'll try it on the stern before I do the sides of the first.
Then I'll take a couple of pic's to post .... it looks noth'n like the above boat.

How'd they do that :confused:

I painted a friends boat camo one time and it came out pretty good. Not as nice as the decals, but much cheaper too. I just made some stencils of the shapes of the camo I wanted out of poster board, and spray away.

In fact, I thought about looking for some pre-made stencils but don't know where I'd find any.

try Cabela's. I bought a boat camo kit from them a few years back. it comes with everything you need, even stencils!

In fact, I thought about looking for some pre-made stencils but don't know where I'd find any.
All I did was cut some long skinny holes in the poster board, like the shape of the "Max 3D" in different sizes, and used a few shades of brown.
