Just got my 84 back from getting some fiberglass repairs done. Had them shine it up nice for me while it was there. Enjoy

Looks great! My buddy had an '84 S & S just like that, same color. Was that boat ever in NJ?

sweet, get her on the water, was the shine brought back or just well maintained. If brought back, I want what you used! They must have used a different font in 83

Ditto, I have an '82 and would love it to shine like that. If you brought that shine back I would also like to know how. I am restoring mine and its really faded.

Those graphics are from an 87/88 series boat. You need stars and the older font to make it original

Lots of before and after pictures. Post #18 tells you what I used for bringing back the shine. In a nutshell
3m Super Duty Compound
3m Perfect It II Polish
Meguires Carnuba Wax
All using high quality wool pads for the compound and foam pads for the polish and wax on my Makita BO6040 dual mode polisher.

Thanks for the info. I was wondering about that. I sent a photo to MCB and the lady said she showed it around and no on mentioned that. I actually like it like it is, imho and it's just mine and I'm not out to convince anyone but I've always thought stars belonged on a flag and flags should be flags, not shirts towels, or whatever, just my humble opinion. I would like to find a back seat if anyone has a lead I'd appreciate a turn in the right direction.

As long as your happy with it, that's all that matters!

I know, it looks pretty bad

Trailer is the project for next winter. First time on the water this year I am going to scrape and spray paint the trailer to get by for this year.

Stereo install pics to come in the next week or so

Also a little history, the boat was originally delivered in Hawaii, then moved to Colorado. I have all the original maintenance records, owners manual, and original delivery receipt. I am the 4th owner. Boat has 2065 hours with a motor and tranny rebuilt 300 hours ago
