This is the first time for the dam to be open fully. This is what 47000 cubic ft per second looks like flowing into taneycomo.

Yep, just talked with my friends at the Holiday Island Marina and they said it was insane. Beaver might actually crest over the spillway and was told parts of downtown Branson were underwater. I made my reservations for Memorial Day so hopefully the water will be at a more appropriate level by then.....

hey don't curse too much water... you could be in our situation last summer... there were 2 lakes here that had a respectable amount of water in them... there's about 7 bodies of water we'll hit up during the summer and thankfully it was two of our favorites that were left w/ enough water to ride in safely

Man that sucks for the landing. I was wondering how it would fare. Where is the dock they were building right behind the fire show?

Edit - never mind I see the dock in those pictures. Did not know it was going to be so elaborate....dock-o-minium huh?

My family stays north of Kimberling City every summer for the last 20 years. I have never seen the water even close to that high. Beautiful lake though, just hope the levels don't continue to rise.

Man both you guys are staying an eternity away from where I will be. I tend to stay away from that end of the lake on the big weekends. We might head up to Branson for a day in the car though....especially if it rains.

not where the slalom course is, but we go hang out there also, just not on the big weekends. but people tie up in cow creek, the next cove to the east of little cow and all the way to the back of the cove. People have been tying up there and partying, not as busy or crowded as the swing. let me know.

Supposedly, most of the debris has moved on and the lake is beautiful according to a couple of people that I have talked to. I guess that I'll find out when I am there the weekend of the Ski and Sports reunion.
