Ca$$$$H buyer looking for a lightly used and mostly stock Powerstar 200. I know--needle in the haystack. Willing to travel just about anywhere, and would prefer one with no saltwater use.

Contact ctkiteboarding (http://www.tmcowners.com/teamtalk/member.php?u=1354) on here about his PowerStar - I know he was testing the waters once but I don't remember if he actually sold it yet.

Here is his ad from November of '07. (http://www.tmcowners.com/market/showproduct.php?product=1791&cat=7)

Thanks guys-his has a tower, and it appears a ton of other stuff to command such a high price for a boat that sold new for around $20k. Any other help would be much appreciated.

Did you ever end up finding a powerstar? Also, I'm pretty sure new they were over 20k.....especially w/ a 200hp engine and the tandem axle trailer options.

Erk, you are correct. The PowerStars and the BF200 sold for way over $20k brand new. One BF200 that was in the showroom when we bought ours was listed at about $35k. As you know, the motors alone range from $15k to $20k, depending on what you get.

I think the PowerStars sold in the mid to upper $20s but I could be wrong. I would not have expected to see the PowerStars sold for $20k though, even the base model.

You are dead on, Rockman. Back in '98, my dad was looking at buying a new PowerStar to run in the saltwater. He had it priced out and with a 225 Yamaha, Tandem Axle Galvanized trailer, stereo, cover and bimini it was $36,979... I dug and found the quote!

We passed on the one in the showroom because of the color.

So Rock, what is the hold up?

I know that you can buy a new powerhead without and components for around $2500 and then you can swap everything over from you other powerhead....

Just trying to find a good dealer to do it!

Just kidding Erk!:D

Actually...waiting on a couple things and may actually buy a new motor (225hp) and then Ebay the Yamaha.

The lakes by us and the rivers have not been good to take an outboard out on so that has made the time without the boater easier than if the lakes were deeper and had less debri in the water.

Never found one yet, except the one on the website, which is a tad out of the price range, I'd say. Any help you can provide would be great. Thanks!

I have a 1997 MasterCraft PowerStar 200 with trailer in excellent condition. No motor, so it can be customized.

I would like to see pictures as well. I just recently joined the search for a powerstar and found they are not easy to come by. Depressing when you can search a month and only find one for sale in the US in that time....

Ole & Bonnie, i'm not here to steal your thread or leads on a boat. I'm on the 2-year plan as I currently have a boat that will get me by. Just trying to see what is out there and the going rate. Wish you the best of luck in your search. So far i've come up with nothing.
