View Full Version : Shipping overseas - who does that?

Dumb question: who arranges shipping overseas - the dealer or MC?

We've a 2008 190 that's eight weeks over due and dealer is blaming "them". When i say overdue, it hasn't even hit Britain yet, and then it'll need work to convert to LPG, euro stuff etc...

Before I step up to the plate, it would be good to know if this is something the dealer has any control over or not.

Who did you order it from? The dealer places the order and selects build dates, but I'm not sure on the over seas shipping.

Erk, Ordered from dealer in Britain....apparently with dollar/pound rate at the moment ship space is hard to come by.

LPG yeah direct port propane injection, in parallel to the gas injection, so we have a choice of running either. And with gas at around $8 a gallon here and bulk propane in our tank at $3 a gallon its not a hard choice.

Used to be you'd lose around 10% power on propane, but by fiddling with ECU we've got parity, and if the engine boys are right we've got more grunt on propane.
