I tried to crank the boat today and nothing, some of the gauges worked and it showed 4 volts on the dash after I took it off the battery charger/maintainer. Starter wouldn't even click! Had it checked, 4 volts/80 amps!

Crank up the bus guys, I'm waiting!

Replaced the 8 year old 675 cca battery installed on 4-23-00 that had a 3 year full replacement guaranteee/72 month pro-rated with a 3 year/84 month, 875cca new one and I'm good to go!
I believe I squeezed all the life out of the old one I could!:uglyhamme

8 years on a battery is a pretty good record for a boat!

We are lucky to get 1 or 2 years on a battery up here.

Advance Auto Parts "AutoCraft" Titanium was as close to MasterCraft as I could get, $82!

Well Harold if you actually took care of your boat that battery would have lasted much longer; you know, driving the boat charges the battery.

One good thing about having a boat that has never been used, is my basement sure smells good from the heat baking that 19 year old new engine paint that's still drying! I'm in heaven! :D 8p

I had a battery last about 8 years. Since then my batts have only lasted a few years. I always by Die hards.

Easy Harold! All this nonsense talk about a battery going dead after 8 years could be construed as an attempt to clog up the bandwidth again!!  ;)
