OK, maybe it's not Canada...:D

I'm not sure where this frickin' storm came from, but I've got a foot of snow in my driveway over the last 18 hours with a raging blizzard still going on and another 6 inches expected over the next 12 hours.

This is not amusing.

It WAS snowy when I went to Canada. Maybe you CAN blame them. The big question is what they blame on us as a result of UMP.

snow...? i'd blame the latitude... 70s... a little bad weather this morning i think we'll make about our 4th or 5th trip to the water today if the weather chills out this afternoon

Seriously, I haven't seen a blizzard like this here in "the land of ice and snow" for 5 years. It's absolutely ridiculous. I was mowing my lawn this time last year.

bigmac,

Go ahead blame it on us. We got a tonne of the wet heavy stuff yesterday. Total chaos.

Actually you could more likely blame it on NAFTA. ;)

Let's chat about this again after hurricane season this fall..8p . This snow is gonna melt and go away over the next week or two, and I won't be picking up pieces of my house, nor shoveling mud out of my living room.

LOL.............There is truly no "Perfect" place to live. But I would rather take my chances with a Hurricane than shovel snow in April.............:D

Looks like the brunt of this storm went just north of the twin cities as we only have maybe two inches on the ground and it is a wet slushy two inches of snow and currently raining hard.

It's just wild. Going to work today was weird, and kind of fun, I must admit. I initially thought my biggest challenge was going to be the 4 foot drift right at my garage door. Turned out that the fun was just beginning.

I finally was able to get the driveway and drifts cleared by noon after I left work. This heavy wet snow came out of my tractor's snowblower like toothpaste. Temp is 34 and it's already melted down to the concrete. I'm patting myself on the back for procrastinating taking the snowblower off the tractor, and kicking myself for summerizing the snowmobiles.

I love a good snowstorm, but not in April.
