It is tempting. Right now I have a Billion $ desk and I think I am qualified, but don't think my wife would move.:(

Currently work in the supply chain world in another company and am a practicing lean six sigma black belt, but there is no way my wife would move. Maybe I'll ask her if I can take it and come home on the weekends? I'm sure she can handle the three kids on her own....

Don't hold your breath. I have a degree in Operations Management from Purdue, as well as 7 years management experience in the marine industry, and they won't even reply with a letter about an operations job. CC at least sends me a brochure and a book to read about thier company when I've applied there.

Don't feel bad, back in the late '90's I sent in a couple resumes and stated I would be willing to move to Vonore and start out sweeping the floors, but there were no floor sweeping jobs available and I think I was over qualified cause I actually would work there and would own a MC!

i would be interested to find out how many people who work in production there actually are into water sports and own an MC...?
i know i work in a facility that makes aluminum can stock and there are a lot of people here who are into drinking beer and making sure our products are consumed...

I wonder what % of the people actually work in the same field as their degree? It doesn't seem like a whole lot. I too have a degree from Purdue,(ME), and have never worked as an Engineer.
