We need a new transom decal for our 1992 ProSport 205... already talked to BAWS, searched my tail off, etc... Only the later style with the solid lettering is available, and the other difference seems to be that the later ones say "World Record Ski Boats"... the correct one for 1992 says "World Record Ski Boat". Just want to be able to match the letters up exactly so the old lettering spots are re-covered.

I see redline vinyl on Ebay has some that have the slash, but also say "boats". Looks like one will have to be custom made.

Ours is in storage for another 6 weeks, and it's washed out anyways so taking a picture is almost useless.

Does anybody have a picture of the transom decals on their '92? I can provide an email address via PM... Thanks in advance...

83hurstguy:

There are a few photos in Shepard's 1990 restoration thread that might be of use to you.

Shepard’s ’90 transom before:
http://www.tmcowners.com/teamtalk/showpost.php?p=261560&postcount=32
http://www.tmcowners.com/teamtalk/showpost.php?p=326117&postcount=267

Shepard’s ’90 transom after:
http://www.tmcowners.com/teamtalk/showpost.php?p=261561&postcount=33
http://www.tmcowners.com/teamtalk/showpost.php?p=326120&postcount=268

Shepard also did an etching of one of the decals on his trailer shown here:
http://www.tmcowners.com/teamtalk/showpost.php?p=315661&postcount=233
and here
http://www.tmcowners.com/teamtalk/showpost.php?p=315663&postcount=234

If there is any mark on your transom from the old decal left you could likely do this too.

I hope this is helpful.

Thanks guys. :) I may just be an idiot... found a picture of a 1992 last night here... it says "Boats".

http://forums.wakeboarder.com/viewtopic.php?t=71877

I saw a picture somewhere where it said "boat", must have been a swapped decal or something...

Problem solved... Thanks again!

1993 said "Boats". But you could always not put the "s" on there.

Mearuring my '93 graphic:

World Record Ski Boats is the longest text at 26 1/8" from the left most edge of the W and the rightmost edge of the S (Widest point of the entire graphic)

Mastercraft is 25 1/4 drawing a line on the leading edge of the M and a parallel line at the trailing edge shadow of the t and then measuring between the two lines at any point.

If you need something different, let me know....its easy for me to measure as I can lay the decal completely flat and put a tape on it:D

I got the decals for our PS 205 from REdline Vinyl off of ebay. THe guy is amazing to deal with. They are not exactly the same size as the stock ones, but we are power buffing before replacing them. Might as well IMO, if you have the decals off the buff will be 100%.

Good luck. And go with Redline.......cheap too.
