So I'm looking to do some riding this summer at the famous "Ditch" east of Destin, FL. Where can I launch? Google Earth shows possible options on the west side. Anyone have good directions? Thanks! Hopefully I get better input than the sarcastic Brazos river thread...Weatherford/Tin Top was some of the best water I've ever ridden.

Can't tell you how to get there, but all I can say is that place is sick. Probably the best setting I've ever rode at. I have no clue how we got there b/c I'm not from the area, but all I can say is it is definitely a hidden gem!

My cousin rides there regularly, and I'm sure he will PM you later on tonight.

I hate to post this publicly since it is the best place i have ever riden, but I guess I could share 8p

Also Josh, some of the other local riders and I are planning a get together at the ditch somewhere near the end of may. Maybe some of you other saltwater guys (Skidog, SaltWaterMC, etc.) could come up and hang out too?

Anyways here is a map.. (click on satellite view for more accurate representation)

Port Washington is the best place to put in, well the only place... It is a crappy ramp, but the amazing conditions make up for it.

From PENSACOLA

-Take HWY 98 EAST
-Take This until you come to CR-395
-Say on this road until you come to the ramp
-You will know if you have gone to far ( the end of the road is the ramp.. ha ha)

End of May? I'm there! Sam, you never made it out to P'cola. I've started riding the Blackwater river in Milton. Closer to your neck of the woods if you ever want to come out.
