Can you still get good sound if the sub is in the bow enclosure of the boat, I can not find another place to put it. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Just finished putting a Rockford 12 under the bow of my 2001 and it hits hard. Sounds really nice.

No doubt...I have a '91 ps 190, with a JL 12" under the bow, and it sounds killer. Really, I think it sounds better in the bow, than some of the boats that don't have it up there. The bow acts like a echo chamber, making it sound cleaner, and a little louder.

I have a single 10" sub in the bow in a generic enclosure. Sounds great.

I used a generic enclosure like brianm and mounted it in the very very tip of the bow and bracketed it to the inner rubrail backing.. no way you'll accidentally break into gelcoat if you use that material. this keeps the weight in the center and forward as much as possible too.

I have my 10" powered with a 300 w amp and am running the cabin speakers off of the deck power. Sounds really good especially for a fairly low dollar setup.

The sub is in and it sounds great. I was pleasantly surprised and very happy with the quality and thump. Thanks for all the input

My amp is mounted on the little partition between the storage area and the drivers feet. I have my PP master modual there too,
