I have an x-45 now and am thinking of going to an X-Star. Who can tell me the difference in ride, wake and most of all handling. I am alittle concerned about interior room in the star, but am willing to give it up it the handling greatly improves.

Where are you at in the Midwest? If your local to Chicago, we have test drives already setup for tomorrow on an X-45 and x-Star.

I'd be more than willing to let you drive both boats back to back so you can see the differences.

Busstuf on here went from an X-star to an X-45 and back to an X-star again. You should pick his brain on this.

I love my '05 X-star, handles great with the new style rudder and 10 people are no problem for me. Fast enough to barefoot behind (just fast enough) and the wakeboard wake is second to none.

Eric,
Did you sell that black and gray X45 from up front, man that was a sweet looking boat, nice color combo. Don't get that color in an XStar and put it up front, it would be hard to drive by it every day and see it.

I have the XStar and love the boat. I donít think I would want to try to sink or sack out the X45 to get a larger wake. You would need a lot of weight. If you need the larger boat for bigger water get the X35. That boat can handle large bodies of water.
