Hey all,
I have a 98 prostar 190, and i need to do something with the ski platform. the person before looks like they tried to polyurethane it, and i tried sanding it and putting another coat on, didnt work out so well...it kinda rubs off. am i going to have to take every piece of this apart and sand it and put teak oil on it or what do you guys recommend?

Welcome. Did sanding take off the eurathane coat? If so, you are halfway home. Make sure you get all of that junk off. If the previous owner didn't take it apart to put it in between the slats, I see no reason to take it apart. Once you have it stripped to bare wood, just apply the oil per the instructions. There are lots of procedures mentioned on the site that yield various results as far as shine and durability that you can read about in the threads linked below. Good luck.
