I have a 91 PS190 and the fuel gauge does not read (empty all of the time).
May it be the fuel sender?? or any other ideas?

fuel sending unit. I got mine from skidim. Sometimes you can get away with taking it out, sanding the float on the inside, clean it up, and put it back together if the float is stuck. Could also be a bad connection in the wiring, or the gauge.

There are lots of posts on sender issues, just search for fuel sender.

If you want to narrow it down to the sender or the gauge then just ground the sending wire on the sender on the tank. (not sure if there is 1 or 2 wires on the sender) When you ground the sender you are giving the signal of 0 resistance to the gauge (full tank). If the gauge reads full then the sender is faulty if the gauge doesn't move then check power at the gauge.
