Just put in a new steering cable. Can someone take a picture of the way there rudder looks when the wheel is full to the right and left? i put the cable in swearing it was in the bottom not the top but it seems backwards to me. THanks

I think I understand you question correctly, but do not have a picture I can post. But, if you wheel is all the way to the right, then the aft tip of the rudder should be all the way to the right as well. Opposite for left.
Apologies if I misunderstood the question.

so if the steering wheel is to the right then the aft of the rudder will be facing rught as well? that makes sense to me and i was thinking that....looks like i reversed the steering!

It is! We had new hydraulic steering put on our outboard and they crossed the steering lines. I backed the thing off the trailer and sat there for a second thinking something felt weird! 8p
