Just tell him it's the latest thing in slalom skiing. We only ski on one side of the course now.

What sort of ski?

Just replacement of the old or do you mind buying a bit higher level parts?

What I will say is that if it came with a typical slider fin (just front and back movement shim w/ electrical tape to get less fin etc) you will probably not have luck finding those unless you contact the manufacturer.

I can provide several manufacturers of fins/fin clamps. Installation is simple you just drill some pilot holes and use a #10 stainless sheet metal screw to hold the clamp to the ski.

anyway,

and i'm sure I can find more. Otherwise you are looking to find a ski not in use and swipe its fin/fin clamp. or you are ebaying for one, or wild thought, pull his old one, straighten it out as best you can.

oh I might have a factory Goode fin box and fin for it, i'll be able to look tomorrow night. I could let it go cheap.

it doesn't have any set screws so set up can be a bit of trial and error, you know, loosen move, tighten measure.

it would work alright probably.
