I have the original captains chair from my 86 MC. It needs reupholstered but the seat is in good working condition. Also have the base which works as well. Free to a good home, you pay shipping and it's yours. Let me know soon, I will hold onto it for about 2 weeks and then the wifey will probably have me dispense of it.

I have looked for two years for the base for the observers seat in my 79. I finally had one made of wood and wrapped it in fiberglass. I looked eveywhere. I found the seat itself now I need the base.

I have a pair of old Airguide speedometers, 82 vintage. Chrome bezel with flange on rear. Maybe somebody can use them for parts to fix up old ones as they don't make these any longer.
Any TT regular that will pay shipping can have them.

"Pay it forward" is certainly an appropriate title for this thread. Great to see, and be affiliated with such a generous group of people. :toast: I too would rather see someone be able to use something that I have laying around than it just sit in my garage and collect dust. Bravo guys, bravo!

My Airguide's are spoken for.
Anybody else have some unsued parts somebody could use?

I do have a box of about 10 impellers that have less than a year each on them. I like to keep a spare in the boat, "just in case". While I haven't used one myself yet, it seems I give one away to someone brokedown at least every other year.

Tom Wortham

Powerslot82,
I would love to have one of your extra impellers. I have an 86' Inmar 351 engine. I do need to keep a spare.... that way I will never need it.
I'll send you a private message as well. Many Thanks.

Powerslot 82; I need an impeller. I'll see your impeller with an original pitot pickup ( airguide gray/black two hole impossible to find) and raise you a Mari Star Owners Manual part# 99/1012. Also have speedometer out of 89 Tristar.

Hehehe, too funny.

So I've got an Airguide speedo from a '94 PS205. I replaced it because it doesn't work. But the glass, bezel, & black face are in good shape..... in case someone is rebuilding one of their own. PM me & I'll get you a picture of it.

Also have an OEM speedo pickup in good shape.

More parts to potentially part with!

I plan on putting on a new Edelbrock carb and a Accel Distributor. After I get it all working right my OEM Holley 4160 is up for grabs as is the OEM Prestolite distributor. The Holley IMO needs rebuilt (at the least an update kit) and the distributor works fine but needs a new cap, points, and rotor.

You pay shipping and they are yours!! (again, after I get the new parts all working correctly)

BTW, the seat and base are spoken for. TPH., they are on the way to you!! Thanks!!!!

Use a CD-RW, or you will only be able to watch it on a computer (of course, you could just rip it to the harddrive and send the CD-R on). But in my experience, CD-Rs don't play as VCDs in DVD players.

I don't think digital copies degrade in quality from muliple copies. If anything, and I could be wrong, I'd be more concerned about the same CD getting remailed over and over developing scratches and smudges, which would show up as glitches in the copy. Either way, I'm glad everyone's enjoying it.

Cleaning out the closet. I have a barefoot suit and a woman's wetsuit, free to the first to claim them. Shipping paid by you or Pram. I'll ship USPS.

Barefoot suit: Eagle Assault, about 12 years old, but in excellent condition (except the "graphics" on the back are "cracking" a little). I only used it a few times back in the 90s when I first bought it, right before I discovered the joys of the slalom course . It's been hanging in the closet since. I believe the size is Medium -- I'm 5-11 and it fit when I weighed around 170, but it's too tight at 190 :(. Pic is below.

Woman's wetsuit: Neil Pryde "Jenna de Rosnay." Don't know size but it says "40/12 Ladies" on the label. It can't be size 12 because my wife wears size 8 - 10 and it's too small for her. It belonged to my mother who used it for windsurfing. This is a cold water suit, the neoprene is thick. Pics are below.

I have an old (~2000 or older) "IBM ThinkPad 56W Power Adapter." I used it in the old days of hand-held Garmin GPS when I would connect the GPS to my ThinkPad and it would display a moving map on the laptop, bigger than the map on the handheld.

Anyway, with the proliferation of the Nuvis and TomToms I don't run my laptop in the car/truck any more, but I figured some of you GCs or other types might.

Details:
- Input: 12 - 16 VDC
- Output: 16V, 3.5A
- Cigarette lighter input cable
- Two different output cables. One terminates in the round plug common today on lots of laptops. My laptop wants 19V, but it seemed happy w/the 16V plugged in and was charging fine. The other cable terminates in something that looks like a proprietary IBM power plug (?).

Trying to wake the dead here. Anyone doing any restoration might have use for these. I have the original CIPA mirror circa 1990, would need new mirror to be perfect, includes the mounting bracket and arm, do people restore these? Anyways, free if someone wants it. Also have the filler for the high end removable stereo option that use to exist before removable face plates came about. And last, one circa 1990 Mastercraft flip down cup holder in working condition, could use a good cleaning, and one brand new generic one from Boater's World before they closed. Any takers........

So I have tried to sale some extra parts with no luck so I was thinking that it would be fun to start a pay it forward thread here. Basically this should be a way to clean out unused parts and gear and get it to someone who needs it. so take a look around your garage or shed for any parts or gear that you arent using and can "Pay Forward" to someone else.
As I am starting the thread, I will set some rules.

1. The gear is to be given, not sold.

2. The receiver is not to ask for the gear with the intention of reselling it.

3. Although it is not required, the receiver should make every attempt to add something to give to the thread.

4. Anyone may add gift items to the thread.

5. Try and provide an accurate description and photos of the gear.

6. First person to claim item gets item give them reasonable time to retrieve (pay shipping, pickup, etc).

7. If you receive an item and it is not what you expected or it doesn't suit you, repost it here for others.

8. This is intended to be fun, so please do your best to keep it that way.

Time to revive this thread. I have a PCM service manual. Purchased from SkiDim. It covers all PCM Ford/Chevy. All in a binder. Photo is of the first page and table of contents. You pay the shipping and its yours. This is still available from SkiDim for $31.95 + shipping.

I have an older observer seat that I replaced due to a tear in the seam where the flip-through bolster goes. It is in the corner of the "L" opening at the seam. Nothing else wrong with it. Frame is good etc.

It came off of a 2002 TT197.

Pic is of the new one, but same colors.

Pay shipping, or come and get it.

Hi BrianM,
Your PM box is full.
Thank you for your post, if I pay postage would you be willing to post to Australia?
I find that most times USPS is the cheapest option for things that we purchase.
Regard
