I have a 1997 prostar 205 and need a cover. I found a new MC cover for a 1999 205v, are there differences in the hull or will this work?

MT:

Minor differences in this hull are described by year in the
1996-2000 ProStar 205/205V/Maristar205/X-star/X-2/X-1: A History (http://www.tmcowners.com/teamtalk/showthread.php?t=15198)

www.skiboatcovers.com wouldn't hesitate for a second to give them the business.

I was thinking about skiboatcovers but geez, 500 bucks for a cover? I think I'll get a polyguard cover that has the same 5 year warranty. I haven't heard anyone say anything bad about skiboatcovers yet so they must be either good or after you spend 500 on a cover, you have to say it's good ;)

They are worth every bit of the $500-600 you pay for them.. Absolutely top quality fit, materials, workmanship and customer service. You will not be disappointed.

Does it come with the tie down stuffs as well? And if it doesn't look good or isn't right there's something that says it's custom so no returns right?

They come standard with the rub rail cinch cord, poles and the loops for you to do your own ties. I had them attach straps and life jacket style buckles to mine so I didn't have to mess with bungies or rope. I think they charged me an extra $25 but it was well worth it. They guarantee the fit of the covers and have great customer service. Call them up and talk to them. Mike is a really nice guy.

I post this photo every time covers come up. This is one of their waterline covers on my old '88 Prostar. You can see the straps and buckles I had them add.

This is a picture of Sodars old boat with the same cover with the standard loops and bungies.

As you see both covers fit and look great.
