I would like to know if BPR6EFS spark plugs made by NGK are suitable for my 2004 MCX 5.7 engine. These are the only ones I can get locally. Thanks for your help.

what's the factory plug type?
there are cross references plug to plug. If the PBR6EFS matches yours then its a fine plug to use.

Looks like factory plug is a Delco Remy Spark Plug Platinum 41-993
is that correct?

Indmar Manual for 2004 states AC 41-932. However, I can not get AC plugs locally. I can readily get NGK plugs but only NGK BPR6EFS type. NGK's web site recommends BR6FS for Indmar 5.7L V8 EFI engines (my engine) and recommends NGK BPR6EFS (which is available here) for Indmar 5.7L V8 EFI H.O. engines.
Some web sites that sell spark plugs state that both type of NGK spark plugs are suitable for my engine. Local NGK dealer says that the difference between the two spark plug types is heat capacity. What do you recommend?
