Lift rings

I want to do some trailer work on my 90 maristar that has front and rear lift rings. We have access to a 5 ton overhead lift so I want to know if those things will hold the weight of the boat. The guy at my local boat shop said yes but just I just wanted some more opinions. Thanks

It will and should for a couple weeks, other than that, I would lower it onto some blocks until time to lift and place back on the trailer.
