I have looked at this

http://www.tmcowners.com/teamtalk/showthread.php?t=21767

runs smooth, gel coat is faided and some scratches. Not kept up the best but far from a deal breaker.

HEre are the questions
Pickup is broken how much is that
boatbuddy plastic is broken how much is that.
He says the muffler has a pin hole in it and he uses JB weld every yr or so to plug...

impeller needs to be changed and drips but no biggie on that. everything else seems to be fine except the normal for a 91, time to replace some wood on the trailer and carpet.,.. that kind of thing.

Please help with the questions so I know how much I need to move the price.

If you're talking about the speedo pickup, they are cheap and easy to replace. I forgot the actual dollar amount but go do skidim.com to check.

Muffler can be patched better with fiber glass. Common problem in this boat.

Look at the impeller housing carefully to see where the leak is from....it may be the gasket between the plate on the front and the housing or from an undertightened hose. Be a little more wary if it is coming from somewhere else.

Best advice I can ofter is to pay a dealer to do a compression test and systems check before buying....this is a couple hundred bucks that provides lots of peace of mind before you purchase.

Good luck!

down to 28 tonight and the boat is in an open field, should I drain? I plan to ride some tomorrow, will definitely drain it then.

I had a '92 that was the same color. Was a great boat. 180 hours is really low for a '91, so it that is correct, there should not be any compression issues. One night at 28 probably will not cause any issues, but then again it is only a 10 minute job to drain if the plugs have been removed on an annual basis. If the boat has not been regularly winterized, you may find the plugs frozen, expecially in the exhaust manifold.

Enjoy the new toy.

$13 plus shipping
$29 plus shipping from Kodiak
Impeller and gasket are about $28+ shipping.
Muffler is roughly $200 and some change plus shipping.

Trailer project will probably run you between $100 and $200 when all is said and done.

Hey Gonzo,
Somebody else here can probably validate that this will fit, but this might be an ebay deal to solve your muffler leak..

Looks like a great price....wish they'd have a picture of the other side to see the input side coming from the risers....looks like the classic 'dinosaur egg'.

Call Mike at MC Charlotte for the pickup. If he doesn't have it, skidim.com does. Kodiak trailers is in Fort Worth, TX. To order that from a dealer typically requires it to be drop shipped from MC and shipping is pretty steep, but if they have it in stock and it is not expensive, then they can hook you up, too.
