I was thinking about upgrading to the new stargazer system. I would have to get a new gauge and master module. Is the old module and the single line display worth anything? I was hoping to sell it to help pay for the upgrade. My system was for a mechanical throtle, so it uses the servo motor.

Yes, it is worth something. How much? I would say that depends on how many other people happen to have systems for sale at the same time.

You won't have any trouble selling it.

I just sold my DBW Master Module for $250+shipping. The mastermodules can be reflashed with WakeBoard Pro by PerfectPass, which makes them still a good commodity, or if the buyer is a slalom skier, he can enjoy Digital Pro....

If it's digital pro, it includes wakeboard pro. But if they know they won't be using slalom mode at all, they can do a system restart and select WB pro without slalom as an option. But the Master Modules for DP and WBP are the same.

Yep, there's a market...how much are you asking?

I was thinking $350 for the module and display. I believe it is running 6.3n. It is a digital pro which as east tx says includes wake board pro.

dpolen shoot me a PM if you are intrested, also glad to see you are a hoosier, although I am not to sure about Dan Dakich...

For a 6.3 system that is going to be pretty high. The parts to make it work are going to cost another $500. So for just a couple of hundred more someone could have a brand new system.

I sold my 6.5n MM and display together for $100 which was too cheap.

The MM is probably worth about $100 and the display probably $75-100. Just keeping it real.

I could not agree with Brian any more.Hit the nail on the head.A 6.5NG chip will cost $65 alone less shipping.

barefoot...nice find! I'm cautiously watching for a deal on a system. Just bought my wife a new car today, so I might get killed for buying another new toy for myself.

oldriver and Brian, I think you're becoming our resident experts on piecing together the perfectpass systems. I know Eastie has been a strong contributor as well.

Did anybody on this forum win that large "bundle" on ebay last week? Haven't seen anything really hit the market since then.

Thanks Doug,I am not an expert, however a single line display can only support a 6.5 chip.If you get a Master Module with the 6.5N or NG then you need a mult- line display.Just make sure you get the right display for the module .
no sign of the bundled parts, maybe a group buy.

Excuses, excuses, excuses....c'mon, we need to see some results from our members on this forum. LOL...like I'm one to talk. I think I've tried to buy like 6 different used perfect pass systems now from various sources...batting average = 0%. I have to say, I think you got the best deal that I've come across.

ya I have built 2 systems now for about 900 dollars.but I still need a couple parts, maybe another 100 dollars and will have 2 up and running the highest rev. for a single line display. 6.5.Keep waiting you will get a good deal and maybe better than I did.Keep on pluging

6.5n only requires a single line display. This chip has the same pull as 6.5ng but does not use the multiline display. 6.5ng (g means graphic) and Stargazer are the only PP systems that require the multi line display.

And here I always thought ng stood for new gauge.

The more you know ... :)

thanks Brian ,Mark at perfect pass told me anything above the 6.5 would require the multiline,N stands for name and G for graphics.
