The 4th still learning, great pics
Yep RFF. Left the ski back at the wakes - I think he was on the second tumble in this pic. Glad to hear the EXO system let go like it should.
Here you go - a short, but painful wakeboard up/down. A real 'eyeball peeler'. Once he hit, he was done for the day.

From last Saturday, it was the last ride of the day for me. It was a wicked back & head smack that left me with a headache for a couple of minutes. I had previously made my first wake to wake jump.

that ball you see is a 3/4 ball, about 13 feet inside the regular turn ball. My 6 year old daughter skies around it. The regular turn ball is covered up by the spray.

Sorry to hear and see that but gotta ask what went wrong? How fast and what length were you running?

Went out Tuesday evening to give my nephew one last run before he leaves for college and had a nasty wreck on my slalom ski, pretty sure sure I have a banged up rib...again. I fractured 3 on the same side 2 years ago doing the same thing. I'm thinking it's time to give up the slalom, I can't seem to keep myself from major damage.

35 off @ 36 mph, I clipped the buoy with my back leg which tossed my ski off edge, the front re-grabbed and out the front I went. Back font came out but the front came out to late

My father had a bad wreck about 14 years ago on a ski, not sure what happened but when he went down he got the ski just behind the ear, kooled him good, he came to in the ambulance. Good thing buddy towing him was the fire chief and knew a little first aid. He got ten staples in the back of his head from it.
And me, I new catching an edge hurt, but didn't realize how much.

Stops you right in your tracks. That's why I wont ride a wakeboard anymore. I've been clocked one too many times and obviously enough to learn that I am better off footing!

I'll pass on wakeboards!
I wouldn't attempt to ride one again, know of many friends that tore either their (ACL'S) or (ICL's)
in their knees from riding.
I as areamike agree, I'm better @ 44MPH on both feet!

The first time I finally got my son to hold his edge going up the wake he got a good pop and freaked out. I just love the look on his face. I asked him if putting his hands down helped break his fall? You can't ride it out if you don't have the handle!:D
First attempt at a backbreaker...Now you know how it got the name!

What kind of bindings? I did something similar at 32 MPH. Bindings didn't release, not broken, but doc said season is over.
