Hi!
I'm still searching for that perfect boat! Anyway, I found a 2000 Prostar 205v. It has the 310 hp motor. How is this compared to the larger hp motors? Should I look for on with more power?

Below is the link: How does she look?

Looks good, but if the rudder is straight ahead, I'd ask why the steering wheel is on upside down and have them correct it if you get it.

Nope, dont need the bigger engine. love my 2000 205V, the 310 is very "torqueish" i guess you would say. awesome boat overall, and weighted right, a great wakeboat, and a good slalom boat.

Looks nice, seems like the right price too.

My friends X-1 has the 310 engine, he adds lots of extra ballast and it pulls fine. He's changing the prop this year to the OJ 14.25 X 14 for some extra holeshot, only needed with a boat full of people.

That bimini top looks low, must be mounted to the windshield instead of the tower. Nothing wrong with that, just watch your head! :D

How many hours does it have on it?
Looks to be in good condition!

I've got the 330 - but I've never heard any complaints of the 310. Supposedly the 310 has more torque at the low end - which is a good thing for wakeboarding.

The price on that boat is excellent considering the hours and condition. The best thing about it is that it has a 2001 style zero-flex tower which is a huge improvement over 2000 in looks and stability. Also it has a custom bimini which was probably over $500. I'd pull the trigger real fast on that boat.

Then oil the teak!
