All wetsuits are going to be buoyant. What are you looking to use it for?

Sounds like your looking for a barefoot suit. They have additional padding in the suit, short sleeves and short legs. We have a couple styles from Barefoot International and from Vortex.

Well then you will probably want to look at a suit that is a 'barefoot' suit with all of the padding. They will not be coast guard approved though so if you are on public water this may not be a good idea. I would much prefer to buy a nice unrestrictive shorty and wear my normal ski vest though.

Where do you ride? Do you have to wear a USCG vest? I don't think you will have much luck if you need a USGC vest.

I ride in northern WI where a vest is required. Thanks for the info!

You gotta bust back into MN. No USCG vest law, you just have to have one in the boat. Note I am not condoning this, just stating thats the law.

I ride with an Oniell Outlaw vest and then I have a full and a shorty suit so that I'm ready for any water temps.

I don't know of any USCG suits, though I'm sure someone makes one.

We have the same law in Wisconsin as does Minnesota. Under STATE law, skiers are not even required to wear a vest, but there must be a USCG approved vest in the boat for all passengers as well as the skier, and the skier is counted towards the overall boat capacity as well. I ski with an old school Nevin S.W.A.T. non USCG vest and I love the added mobility!

Note that this is a STATE law, and your local ordinances may be different...

If you are on a jet ski, a USCG vest is required, just an FYI. But as a MC enthusiast Im sure you are not a jet skier... :D

If you have any other questions, feel free to give me a call.

Same deal in IL I think. Not required for the skier. I always wear one, except when barefooting. I want to float if I am knocked unconscious!
