Prison occupancy is at an all time high, The economy is in the tank, gas is believed to be nearing $4.00 per gallon by summer, mortgage forclosures are escalating at a staggering level, our trade deficit is a joke and the quality of life is on the DECLINE in the US so where do we decide to focus our efforts?

We form a senate judicary committee and we investigate steroids in baseball.

Note to the senate: You have serious problems, none of which involve sports. (Insert cuss words)

And look what happens when good people are elected!!!?????

Our local geniuses continue to amaze me with their ability to screw up. Funny thing tho, one of the local rags who decided to sway public opinion is now suffering the concequences, because their ad revenue is 1/2 what it was.

if you do read the newspaper you are misinformed."

And suppose you were a member of Congress....
But then I repeat myself.

I agree, except isn't the ranking Democrat a skirt?

Nancy and her crew sure have got a lot done since they've taken over haven't they.

Some of the best quotes ever...................Simply because they are true.

As to corrupt politicians. WE(Chicago) are now the highest taxed city in America after the new tax proposal was passed last week, and another 105k position was given to another family member of the County Board President. Wait I vote a raise for us as well. AND THEY THINK WE HAVE A CHANCE AT THE OLYMPICS HAHAHAHAHA!8p

That will happen when Daley (our Mayor and most corrupt politician in the state quite possibly in the country) and all the corrupt Aldermen/Revrends don't get re-elected, or suddenly disappear........ though the State's Attorney's and U.S. Attorney's offices are getting closer;) :D

All I can say is thank the lucky stars for a summer home address out of the city to register trucks and boats. Saves me a @##%load of money

Sen. Coburn from OK is at least on the right track. He votes what he thinks is best for the country no matter who he ticks off.
