Does anyone know where to get a gas strut that holds up the back portion of the passenger seat for a 91 PS 190?

For my 97 I went to NAPA... Thats where I would say try. Do you have the old one that you are wanting to replace? If so, take it for a match.

Take your old one to Napa or any part's house and they can match it up. Just curious, when you do so, can you measure yours? I've got a 91 that's missing the strut and it appears it will take one with a length of 12" closed and about 17" open. The strut that was originally installed seems too short and appears to have been replaced.

I ordered one for my 197 from Bay Area Water Sports. I talked to Chuck. He had it in stock, shipped it out quickly and the price was very reasonable ~$15.

I will try Napa first and yes I will measure it for the guy with the 91.

Size on my '95 PS190 is:

Engine cover = SPD-5150-30A and the Storage hatch = SPD-5300-30A

I also ordered mine from Chuck at BAWS. Shipped it out fast and it was cheaper than Napa even with the shipping cost.
