Maybe you will get lucky with the sleep. Both of mine slept through the night by the 4th week. Best of luck to you! Where in the Southeast are you?

well, actually my Grandpa's middle name and my son's middle name are the same. Edward

Congrats to you and wife. I love the name and the fact you honored your grandfather. It just gets better. I have 7 grand children and 4 great grands. (none named after me. Can't say I blame them. Bruce is not one of the great names)

Congrats! When I had my kids, I was amazed on how well I function with no sleep. I had my daughter on the boat at 3 weeks old and my son at 6 months (had to wait for ice to thaw!) I'll admit, having kids was one hell of a lifestyle change, but I certainly don't regret it. I definitely wasn't ready for kids, but I don't think anyone ever is. I just kept saying that we weren't financially, mentally, physically, etc ready. You just gotta go with it. When they look at you and say, "Daddy, you crash really good!" you can't help but laugh and it makes it all worth it! Besides, it's nice to have a 3 and a half year old that knows what a MasterCraft is!
