View Full Version : Cold Weather Buff & Polish?

OK, I just got my new circular polisher and compound, sealer kit etc from Properboatcare.com. Now my boat is in my warehouse, which is unheated. Right now it is 10 degrees outside, but I was just in there and a glass of water is not frozen. Anyway, does anyone have experience doing the buffing, polishing routine when the hull has a temp around 30 degrees? I may be able to heat the space, but even then the hull would take hours/days to heat up.

The solvent in the polish/wax will evaporate out no matter what, may just take longer, but I usually take the polish/wax off before it is completely dry anyway so it's the same difference. As long as your comfortable, go for it.
